Upstate Caring Partners is Hiring a School Psychologist (Part-Time) Near Utica, NY

  • $80.00/Intake
  • $110.00/Evaluation
  • $33.00/hour Training Rate 

The School Psychologist (Part-Time) is responsible to develop and monitor behavior plans, consult with parents, complete evaluations, participate in team meetings, complete documentation, furnish data for psychiatric consults, develop and implement in-service training, educate treatment team members and participate in agency activities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor individual behavior plans and monitor three-month reviews.
  • Consult with parents to implement plan and train parents as appropriate.
  • Complete psychological and cognitive evaluations.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings regarding behavior, evaluation and results.
  • Complete all required documentation according to program regulations.
  • Furnish data for individuals' psychiatric consults and provide counseling services as necessary.
  • Develop and implement in-service training on behavior management to staff.
  • Educate treatment team members about services or issues within the scope of behavior management

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in School Psychology
  • A NYS School Psychologist Permanent Certificate.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License
